Roasted tamari seeds

Recipe from The Gentle Birth Method book (Gowrie Motha)

Dry roast 1 cup sunflower seeds in a frying pan until browned slightly.
Allow to cool, and mix with 1 cup raw sunflower seeds – makes them all taste roasted!

Mix together 100g raw pepitas with 1 tspn ground coriander, and 1/2 tspn each of ground cumin & sea salt, & 1/4 tspn turmeric.
Cook in a pan until the seeds begin to pop – takes about 10 minutes. Cook for a further minute, then cool before eating.

Marinate raw almonds in tamari sauce for a couple of hours (and chilli if you like), then place in the oven on a low heat and allow them to dry out. Keep in the fridge for snacking.
