Hummous with add ins


1 tin chick peas/cannelini beans/butter beans – drained
1 glug olive oil
1 clove garlic – crushed
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 -2 tbspn tahini (dark is better)
Salt & pepper
Spices if you like – cumin, coriander, fennel, chilli, turmeric, tomato paste…..

Leftover roasted veggies (optional)
1 tin salmon/tuna (optional)

Blend all ingredients together until smooth and tastes to your liking. If the mixture is too thick simply add a little water.

Great as a sandwich filler, dip with crackers or veggie sticks, or on the side with roasted veg.
