This was my own invention to combine my love of peppermint tea with chocolate. The cacao provides minerals, iron and antioxidants, and will really curb chocolate cravings due to its high magnesium content.
Steep peppermint tea in a teapot or covered cup to keep hot and preserve the aromatic oils. After 5 minutes, fill your cup from the teapot if needed and add a teaspoon of raw cacao. Stir to absorb all the cacao.
Add sweetening such as Xylitol, honey or stevia as you like.
Add milk if desired – I find coconut milk or a good quality (home made) almond milk is great, but whatever you like to use. Enjoy!
