Cauliflower rice

This is a great addition in the place of rice, if you are avoiding grains for easier digestion, weight loss or during a detox.  Cauliflower is good for liver function, helping to flush toxins and excess hormones from the body.

Using a kitchen blender to do the grating can save you lots of time, and the ‘rice’ will keep in the fridge for a few days.

1/2 cauliflower – grated
1 tbspn coconut/olive oil
seasoning to taste
– Heat a frying pan and melt the oil before adding the cauliflower, and stirring frequently until lightly coloured.  Serve with a main meal
