This is a great breakfast or snack, and is tasty with yoghurt/DF yoghurt as a topping. You can play around with the basic ingredients if you like, to get the flavours you enjoy most.

Small handful of coconut
Small handful of almonds
Very small handful of dates (fresh or dried, no pits)
1/2 an apple cut into chunks (skin on makes it look pretty but peel it if you prefer)
Put all ingredients into a food processor.
Chop for 5 seconds on a fairly low setting and check the consistency. Scrape down the sides of the bowl if necessary.
Repeat until you are satisfied with the texture, just stop before it turns to a paste, unless that’s what you like;)
Scoop into a cereal bowl and enjoy.
